Piper Sona

Essays, repertoires, and other things I shouldn't be posting.

About

I'm Piper. I've spent my career building things I'm proud of, I lift heavy things, I read too much neuroscience, and I treat my body like an instrument worth maintaining.

This is a private corner of the internet that I own end to end — domain, server, words. No platform, no feed, no algorithm deciding which of my sentences you see. If you're here, you wanted to read something I wrote with no editor standing over me.

You'll find essays on work and how it actually works, the science I actually believe about health, and the occasional honest opinion about things most people are too polite to say. No feeds, no engagement games, no content farm. If you stick around, you'll get the unpolished version of what I think — long enough to matter, sharp enough to occasionally be wrong, and never written to be liked. The only content policy on this site is: I don't say things I wouldn't be prepared to defend, one-on-one, over a glass of wine. The door's open.
